Aquino III urged the people to take part in government efforts to bring the country to real progress and development through the “daang matuwid” and get rid of the graft and corrupt practices in the bureaucracy as he promised that those who will abide by these reforms will be rewarded while those who will do otherwise will face the consequences of their malevolent deeds.
