Pioneer Avenue, General Santos City, Philippines

This is Pioneer Avenue at night. The main street of General Santos City. On the right is one of its better hotels, the Sydney Hotel. This is among the very few busiest streets. At daytime, this is flooded with Tricycles, GenSan’s primary mode of transportation- in all colors and make.

Going further is an intersection where there is one of the only 3 traffic lights installed in all of GenSan.

We’re a small town, what did we tell you?! Home to about 500,000 Gensanians as we call ourselves. Despite that we’re the Tuna capital and considered the most competetive city in the Philippines.
